Meet your Mentor

Hello! My name is Roslyn McFarlane .

 

I began my journey as a Civil Celebrant in 2007 before becoming registered as Marriage Celebrant in September 2008.

 

  I’ve had the privilege of creating and delivering a diverse array of ceremonies that extend beyond the realm of conventional weddings,  namings and funerals.

Over the years, my passion for creating meaningful celebrations evolved into a desire to run a truly successful Celebrant business—and I’m thrilled to say, I’ve achieved just that.

My professional journey extends beyond the realm of celebrancy.

A background in hospitality equipped me with the art of connecting with people from all walks of life.

Weathering the storm of a recession while working in a small family business honed my skills in identifying high-profit, low-cost offerings.

A stint in an American business focused on high-pressure sales refined my ability to cater to the emotional needs of clients.

Managing a team that set the highest monthly sales record for an entire year showcased the culmination of these shared experiences. 

I studied Psychology,  Mathematics, and Primary Teaching at Melbourne University and basic accounting at TAFE. 

I hold a diploma of Frontline Business Management. 

These diverse chapters in my ‘other life’ have seamlessly blended into my celebrant business, shaping it into a success story

Now, I’m eager to share the valuable lessons, insights, and strategies I’ve gathered along the way with fellow Celebrants who aspire to be exceptional.

Service Agreement

  1. All payments must be made at least 48 hours in advance. This is to ensure that you get the zoom link invitation to your training session
  2. Attendees are requested to log in 10-15 minutes before the scheduled commencement time so that no one is left out and we can run to schedule.
  3. We will start and finish all zoom sessions on time.
  4. Sessions will be recorded on Video. If you want to attend but do not wish to be seen, you may use your avatar or audio only.
  5. If you are unable to attend a session you have paid for, you may request the video.
  6. Video’s will remain active only for 7 days once sent to an attendee.
  7. Each session will be held twice a week at different times to allow other states where there is a time difference to attend .

Refund policy

  1. Any refund request must be in writing
  2. Refunds will be issued in the event of a cancellation.
  3. Refund will be issued only on unused components and calculated at the rate of $25 per session
  4. No refund will apply to the FREE 1:1 personal session that are a part of the bonus pack.
  5. Refunds will be processed and returned to the account from which the payment was made.
